Still feeling pretty decent- although it gets harder to get up from sitting or lying down each day- but once I’m rolling, I’m good. Still taking the subway to work…but taking cabs home with greater frequency.
Friday is my last day so I have been super busy trying to get a bunch of stuff done before I bounce. Today was awesome though. Came in- the art installer showed up shortly thereafter, as did a bunch of really cool artwork, most of which got hung while I peaced out to lunch at Le Bernardin with Bill and 16 other ladies who love him. After a 2 hour lunch complete with wine and stuffing my facehole with a million mini madeleines- my wonderful boss and I interviewed a candidate to replace my ‘night shift’ role here. As we were escorting her out, our next appointment arrived. We had a walk-through with Taste Caterers who are doing the food for our upcoming Open House and wine tasting event on the 18th. Taste did our ‘Welcome Breakfast’ back in August and they were awesome so we are excited to see (and taste) what they wow us with this time. After our meeting I hollered at our promo lady to get some pens and coasters made. I just love slapping our logo on things, you know?
Blah blah blah, then I did some other things and some stuff and then it was time to go home!
Still hoping for a WEEKEND EDITION of the BABY TIMES. Think labor-ish thoughts for me, okay?
