Sure, when you live in New York it’s easy to feel bad for just about everywhere else on planet earth. What’s up with dark, bare-shelved grocery stores in the Caribbean? What’s the deal with how sad-looking “pasta” is in Eastern Europe? Why Swedish people gotta commit suicide so much? How come India ain’t got good toilets? U-S-A! U-S-A!!
But then I look at all the boss strollers they have over in Scando-France-Germ’England and I feel positively Uzbeki! Even the strollers we have in common (the Quinny Buzz for example) come in crazy designer modifications over there and the US gets like black, grey, and gruel. Jeez.
Check out some of my faves from the lands of crepes, scones, cannolis and strudel!
Kinderwagen Condor 6S in Carbon.Click pic to check out… I had a pram like this when I was a baby, and this particular one is available in the States, albeit for a cool $1,098.00. Stroller seat is an additional $299 but you’ll be wanting that unless your baby starts walking at 3 months (mine will. Believe.)
It’s totally a space pod from future-past! It’s like the Airstream trailer of carrycots; AND, you can strap it in your car in lieu of a carseat (not sure that flies in the US, but over in free’n’easy Europe, it’s an alpha go).
$529 with FREE shipping to the US!
Available at Babies R Us in the UK.
Also available from Babies R Us in the UK .
Another stylish find from Babies R Us, UK — it also comes in black and a pinky-purple they call ‘Grape.’
The sporty Slalom Pro Strata with carrycot in ‘Urban’
And lastly, a bunch of strollers from Netherlands-based, Joolz — which should really be called DROOLZ since that is how they make me feel.
Okay- that’s all for today. That took me about 2 hours!
